Recently I got an e-mail saying that I had won a giveaway from being on the Foodie Blogroll. I was super excited to win one of these cupcake kits from Saint Cupcake. They are located in Portland, Oregon, but send out these adorable kits.
You pick three cupcake flavors, three icings, and three toppings and they send you this cute little kit. The also have vegan offerings for those interested.
Adam & I each ate half of two of the cupcakes and tasted the third. After that we were stuffed. These cupcakes were delicious!! They were so moist and flavorful. We actually ate them a couple days after receiving them and they still tasted so fresh.
We got vanilla chocolate chip with vanilla buttercream, vanilla toffee with vanilla buttercream topped with toasted coconut, and chocolate with hot fudge icing.
Our handsdown favorite was the vanilla toffee. It had such a nice balance of flavor and the toffee and coconut flavors really enhanced the vanilla. It was the perfect treat and not super rich. Both the others were really good, but a little on the rich side.
This would be a great gift to send as a care package to someone, especially if they love cupcakes.
